MAXAR Unisex Air Flight Travel Dress Compression Support Socks for Men and Women, Nurses, Blood Circulation Stockings – Prevents Swelling, Pain, Tiredness, Edema, 12-15 mmHg, H-170 2X-Large Black

Mild graduated compression (12-15 mmHg) provides stronger support at the foot and ankle, where you need it most, and gradually decreases up along the leg to the knee. This unique construction acts like a “second heart” – pushing blood up to the heart and improving blood circulation to help prevent blood clots. MAXAR Unisex Dress & Travel Support Socks are designed with graduated compression for health conscious people who feel the physical pressures of an active lifestyle. Try on a pair of MAXAR support socks today and feel the difference graduated compression makes!

I’ve tried several different brands and sizes of these stockings. First, it’s very important to order the correct size for your leg. Some suppliers offer a chart directing you to buy a certain size depending on your leg circumference at the ankle, mid calf and just below the knee. My advice is to measure your leg accordingly and buy the recommended size. In several earlier purchases I guessed at my leg size and was not satisfied with my purchase. My fault. Second, know what compression range you want. First time buyers will have to guess on their first purchase unless you have a recommendation from your doctor. If you have to guess, go for the lighter compression because if you order heavy compression (20-30 mmHg) they may be too tight and uncomfortable. If they’re uncomfortable, you won’t wear them and you’ve just wasted your money. Of all the different brands I’ve tried, these were the most comfortable and cause the least amount of discomfort at the top of the stocking.

Here’s my problem. I’m a big man at 6 foot 2 inches. I’d tried on a half dozen pairs of other compression socks that for one reason or another didn’t work out.

The Maxar Socks work and fit like a charm. They took care of draining all the fluid build up in my legs. They give great support to my bad knees which was a plus.

If you’re in need of compression socks give Maxar a try first. It may save you lots of trial and error later.
